Area of Focus:
Water/Sanitation/Hygiene

The objective of this project is to rehabilitate and modernize existing washroom facilities at OLA Senior High School in Ho, in order to provide students with safe, clean, and hygienic sanitation infrastructure. This initiative will help promote dignity, proper hygiene practices, and improved health outcomes, while contributing to a supportive learning environment for the over 2,000 girls enrolled at the institution.
As the lead in-country implementing partner, the Rotary Club of Accra-South will coordinate the project planning, procurement of materials, contractor engagement, and general supervision of works. The Rotary Club of Ho, as the monitoring and supervisory partner, will provide regular on-site inspections, reporting, and liaison with school authorities and other local stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and sustainability of the project outcomes.
Both clubs, working in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Capitol Hill and Rotaract Club of Georgetown University, will ensure strict adherence to Rotary’s standards of accountability, transparency, and service excellence throughout the project cycle. Regular progress updates, reports, and photographic documentation will be shared with all partners until successful completion and commissioning of the facility.
We are confident that this project will make a lasting difference in the lives of the students of OLA Senior High School and the broader Ho community. We look forward to strengthening our partnership and continuing this impactful collaboration between our clubs.
