In Duadze, a new chapter in rural healthcare has officially begun. What was once a struggling facility with limited capacity has been transformed into a beacon of hope and wellness. The Rotary Club of Accra-South officially commissioned the newly renovated and fully equipped Duadze Community Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound, marking a milestone in our mission to bring quality medical care to those who need it most.

A Lifeline for Five Communities

For too long, the residents of Duadze and four surrounding settlements—totaling over 3,000 people—faced significant barriers to basic medical attention. Expectant mothers, elderly residents with chronic conditions, and parents with ailing children often had to travel long distances for even the most fundamental check-ups.

Today, that narrative has changed. The upgraded facility is now a comprehensive medical hub, featuring:

• Modernized Clinical Spaces: Renovated consulting rooms and treatment areas designed for patient dignity and hygiene.

• Full Equipment Suite: Essential medical tools and furniture to ensure the nursing staff can provide immediate, life-saving interventions.

• Increased Capacity: A facility designed to handle the daily health needs of a growing population right at their doorstep.
